Operator and scope
OmeoChat is a mobile social and communication app operated by CALQUORS PRIVATE LIMITED (Calquors). This policy covers the mobile app and its supporting services. Contact support@calquors.com for privacy questions, data access or correction requests, and account deletion assistance.
Accounts and profiles
We process your email address, authentication ID and sign-in details to create and secure your account. Your profile may include a username, name, date of birth, gender, language, interests and avatar. Other members may see profile information according to the feature and account visibility settings. A private account limits profile access; it does not hide content from the people or rooms you send it to.
Messages, calls and rooms
We store direct and group messages, polls, votes, reactions, friendships, room membership and room settings to provide those features and display history. Content is shared with its recipients or room members. Random WebRTC calls use encrypted transport. We do not record or store their live audio or video as part of the normal service. This is not a promise of end-to-end encryption for stored messages. Other participants may capture what they see or hear. Avoid sharing sensitive information with strangers.
Camera and microphone
With your permission, the camera and microphone transmit your image and voice for features you choose to use. You can turn them off using call controls or device settings. Audio from an active voice room may continue while the app is in the background; leave the room to stop listening. The Android foreground notification includes a leave-room control.
Approximate location
If you grant foreground location permission, we use your approximate area for nearby features and map browsing. Account location is rounded before storage. You can deny permission or change it in device settings. The app does not request continuous background location tracking.
Optional public room location
A room can be started without a public map pin. If its creator chooses to publish a pin, the app requests a fresh precise foreground location. Other users can see the room marker, its starting point and accuracy circle while the room is live. The pin does not continuously follow the creator. Do not publish a pin from a location you do not want others to know.
Notifications and purchases
With notification permission, we process push tokens to deliver messages, friend activity and call alerts. Google Play and RevenueCat process Android subscriptions; we receive purchase identifiers and entitlement status to provide Plus benefits and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card number. Store billing remains subject to applicable store terms.
Safety and technical information
We process reports, blocks, moderation decisions and relevant account, device, connection and security information to investigate abuse, enforce rules and protect the service. Technical logs and connection information help us operate calls, rooms and account features and diagnose errors.
Providers and information sharing
Providers supporting hosting, authentication, maps, notifications, purchases and call connectivity process information required for those functions. These include Supabase, Google services, Expo, RevenueCat and call relay services. Call connectivity may expose connection information to a peer or relay service. Recipients and room members receive content you share. We may disclose relevant information where required by law or to respond to abuse and protect users. Providers may process data outside your country.
Connected service accounts
OmeoChat uses Calquors-operated account and communication infrastructure. An account or profile may also be used in connected Calquors services. Changes to shared profile data or deletion of the shared account can affect those services. A different product name does not create a separate copy of a shared account.
Retention and account deletion
We retain information while needed to provide the service, maintain safety or meet legal obligations. Delete your account in Profile > Settings > Account Center > Delete account, or email support@calquors.com with the subject OmeoChat account deletion. Use the email linked to the account so we can verify the request; never send a password. Deletion removes the account and linked data managed by the service. Limited transaction, security or legal records may need to be retained. Copies saved independently by other users are outside our control. Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, change visibility settings, block users, leave rooms off the public map and manage device permissions. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your data, or object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support@calquors.com to make a request. We may need to verify account ownership. Where applicable, you may contact your local data protection authority.
Adults only and changes
OmeoChat is intended for adults 18 and older. If you believe a minor is using the service, report the account or contact support@calquors.com. We may restrict access and remove data as appropriate. Policy updates will show a revised date, with additional notice where required.
